Marilynn Monroe is truly a blonde bombshell! This full Peruvian Suri has dense, locked fiber with luster and twist all over her perfect frame! Marilynn is the granddaughter of PVA Mahogany Prince on her sire's side, and Paseo Rojo on her dam's...giving her gorgeous brown genetics on both sides. She has produced two outstanding female cria, both sired by multiple champion MacGyver son, Moon River's Peruvian Durango, and a stunning white male sired by our Magnum in August 2009. Durango's Peruvian Saphira is a beautiful mahogany brown like her sire, and has taken multiple blue ribbons and a reserve championship. Her July 2008 cria, Mezzmerize, is a medium fawn with exquisite fleece characteristics and conformation. Mezzie placed very well at shows in Spring, 2009, including a number of blues. The latest little white male, Fable, looks to have many of the positive qualities of both his dam and sire.Marilynn is a terrific dam who births easily and has loads of milk. We are currently planning her re-breeding. Marilynn placed second in three competitive shows, including a mixed "light suri" class of whites through dark fawn juvenile females at the South Eastern Pennsylvania Alpaca show, the Empire Alpaca Extravaganza, and the North American Alpaca Show. This female is an outstanding foundation female, and an excellent value at this price! Marilynn is open and will be re-bred Spring 2010 (simply to slow our herd growth). She currently sells with a re-breeding to any of Shepherds Creek’s herdsires.
