Sable is the bay black daughter of Accoyo Caligula grandson and multiple Champion, "Chaos". She is a proven producer of black, with rose grey on her dam's side as well. She is small in stature, calm, well-conformed, and her fleece is VERY soft.; 19.3 microns at 4 years of age!! Sable's first cria was born in September '06. "Beauty" is a very straight, true black girl with boldly crimped and bundled fleece. Her second cria was born in October, and is out of our El Zorro. He has terrific density, coverage, crimp and brightness! Sable is a terrific Mom with excellent milk production.
Sable is now bred to the beautiful black herdsire Bel Canto's Sinbad, who took a 1st at the Empire Alpaca Extravaganza and a 2nd at the Futurity! His sire is the multi-champion AABC Navigator, a fantastic medium silver gray. She was scheduled to be rebred in 2008, but after a few unsuccessful tries we discovered she had a mild uterine infection. Once this was cleared up, it was nearing winter and we chose to wait and do a spring ‘09 breeding. She is due in April of 2010.
