ATC Magnum by Torbio is an outstanding example of what Torbio produces in his offspring. He is Full Peruvian and 1/2 Accoyo and has extreme luster!
Just as exciting, or maybe even more so, Magnum's first cria took a CHAMPIONSHIP!! The proof is in the offspring, so we were extremely excited when Gabrielle Reece, owned by Credence Farm Alpacas, was awarded 1st and Color Champion in the Suri Dark Female class at the 2008 AOBA National Fleece Competition! His second cria is a very lustrous dark fawn boy born this past fall at Bent Pine Alpacas. We are looking forward to seeing how this very nice male does in the show ring.
Magnum was bred to a number of females in 2008. The first two of these cria were born in early August of 2009, a white and a fawn, and both are beautiful!
Judges have always commented on Magnum's brilliant luster in the show ring. His sire, Torbio, is the 2nd leading suri producer of all time in the U.S. He has proven himself as a prepotent herdsire, and a producer of champions! Magnum's dam, 5P Celesta was an integral part of The Alpaca Trading Company's production herd over the years, with most of her offspring being kept as part of the 20% of the herd that made most of the success for the farm. Some of her award winning offspring include: Istanbul, Some Kinda Wonderful, & Thrills and Chills.
Magnum has stunning presence, with fleece that literally glistens in the sun. He has a very dense fleece and great coverage, and tight lock structure right to the skin.
