Sable is the bay black daughter of fawn Accoyo Caligula grandson, "Chaos". She is a proven producer of black, with rose grey on her dam's side as well. She is small in stature, calm, well-conformed, and her fleece is VERY soft, 19.3 MFD in 2008 at 4 years of age!
Sable is an excellent dam with excellent colostrum and milk production. Her first cria was born in September '06. "Beauty" is a very straight, true black girl with boldly crimped and bundled fleece. Her second son was sired by our own El Zorro, El Zorro's Jazzman, currently a working herdsire at Black Creek Farm. He has terrific density, coverage, crimp and brightness! Her 2nd daughter, Shepherds Creek's Patience, is a very nice fawn sired by Bel Canto's Sinbad. Congratulations to Cole River Alpacas on their purchase of Patience.
Sable was re-bred, but unfortunately she miscarried that pregnancy late last fall right after moving to our new farm. She was bred back to our El Zorro and is due in April, 2012.
